History Continuous growth for more than 30 years
Today's Blumenbecker Technik GmbH emerged from a company of Agrodienst GmbH in Schafstädt. The former managing director of Agrodienst contacted to Blumenbecker in the summer of 1990 to offer his products and services. The company quickly recognised the potential offered here and shortly afterwards began to design and manufacture special platforms for the assembly of buses in Schafstädt. On 3 June 1991 the company was officially taken over by Blumenbecker and re-established as Blumenbecker Technik GmbH.
In April 1991 Blumenbecker took over 15 fitters and one engineer from the Rüdersdorf cement plant. A service station for crane maintenance and electrical installations was established. Shortly afterwards, the construction of the distribution board was started.
In March 1992, the Zeitz branch was founded with six former ZEMAG employees who were involved in the inspection and maintenance of lifting systems and gates.
In Chemnitz the establishment of the branch started as a 1-man branch office; in 1993 the branch was officially opened.
In January 2022, MW Metallbau & ET-Service in Haiger was acquired. This enabled the production capacities for airport ground support equipment to be significantly expanded. Around 20 employees work at the site in the Lahn-Dill district.
By specialising in niche markets and offering a wide range of products, Blumenbecker Technik GmbH has grown continuously since its foundation. Today, the company employs round about 100 people at its fifth German locations.
