AMR software for production at Futaba Czech s.r.o. . Blumenbecker Prag provides communication between AMRs and the warehouse management system
In collaboration with Linde Material Handling and AIMTEC, Blumenbecker Prag successfully commissioned a fully automated internal logistics system based on six autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) at Futaba Czech s.r.o. in just two months. The project addresses a specific growth challenge: The 21 production lines of the Czech automotive supplier produce more than ten million parts per month—a volume that the previous manual tugger system could no longer handle.
Linde Material Handling supplied and configured the AMR robots, while AIMTEC was responsible for the overall logistics management via the warehouse management system.
As a system integrator, Blumenbecker Prag was responsible for developing the software and communication layer between the warehouse management system and the AMR vehicles. This also included an intelligent traffic light system for safe mixed-traffic operation, as well as a real-time visualization interface for fleet monitoring.
