The client: INTILION AG
In 2019, INTILION AG was spun off from the HOPPECKE Group. The company is a supplier of energy storage solutions. It focuses on sustainable and intelligent solutions for industry in the form of stationary and mobile energy storage systems for wind power or photovoltaic plants, for example.
The commission
2021, INTILION was looking for a reliable supplier of switchgear. After making initial contact and completing the selection process, Blumenbecker was able to convince them. The first order was also a major order for 180 switchgear units for the "scalebloc" series.
These are stationary energy storage systems from 73.1 to 1,169.6 kw/h for commercial use. The battery storage system is for both indoor and outdoor use; including weather-resistant housing and air conditioning. The possible applications are manifold: whether for optimising own demand, for peak load management or as a system for grid replacement. In addition, the "salebloc" serves as a support for the charging station of the e-car.
Performance
Series production of 180 switchgear units began in Blumenbecker's new "INTILION Hall". Blumenbecker set up a separate warehouse especially for this order and took over the materials from the previous warehouse. A battery storage switchgear cabinet for testing the "scaleblocs" also had to be built. This is located outside.
