For the second time Blumenbecker was represented with a stand

The 22nd International Trade Fair for Airport Equipment, Technology, Design & Service took place from 8 - 11 October 2019 at the Munich Exhibition Centre. The globally established leading fair covers all areas of the airport sector, from ground handling to terminals and airport interiors.

The electric passenger step was presented on 114 square meters of outdoor area. This newly developed all-electric passenger step is emission-free. The energy is generated by large solar penels and wheel generators and the charging cycles are reduced to a minimum. The lightweight baggage trailer was another exhibit at the fair. Visitors were also able to find out about the tracking system for airport ground equipment. Ralf Herzog, Managing Director of Blumenbecker Technik GmbH, gave a half-hour lecture on this subject during the digitalisation seminars on the last day of the fair. With the help of the tracking system, maintenance-free motion tracking and sensor technology using rechargeable batteries and solar modules is possible. On request, a loading sensor, which detects e.g. metal containers on the freight trailer or a temperature sensor can be added.
