Blumenbecker opens new branch in the United States
(Atlanta, GA, USA) On January 1, 2010, Blumenbecker US Inc. opened a new branch location near Atlanta, Georgia. “Our main projects are located in the mid-west of the United States,” explains US Branch Manager Stephan Kohlisch. “The vicinity to the airport in Atlanta allows us to be on-site fast, no matter where.“
The list of current projects includes Volkswagen’s new facility in Chattanooga, Tennessee, which represents a billion-dollar investment by the Volkswagen Group of America. Starting in 2011, 2,000 workers will endeavour to make up to 150,000 cars annually at the plant.

Another plus is the direct contact to American subsidiaries of international companies that already draw on support by Blumenbecker. “Our new branch shortens the way even more and gives us the opportunity to offer our services directly, “explains Stephan Kohlisch.
Activities at Blumenbecker US Inc. currently focus on assembly, installation and commissioning support. “For Blumenbecker, the US market is of high strategic importance,” emphasizes Harald Golombek. “Our new presence there not only aims to provide our customer base with even better on-site support, but also to double our business volume in the United States in the medium term.”
