Phoenix Contact offers a vast range of products within the category of I/O modules, many of which feature IP 67 protection against mechanical stress, water and aggressive environmental influences. Extremely slim modules can be used wherever space is at a premium.

A high level of reliability, long service life, as well as straightforward installation and maintenance, are the hallmarks of all the modules, and clear LED diagnostics are available for all but a very few. Each of the module types can be furnished with an extensive range of accessories, including couplers, pre-cut cables and similar. The modules within the individual product series can be networked using any major industrial bus (PROFIBUS DP, DeviceNet, CANopen, Ethernet, etc.), so the user faces no restrictions in this respect when he/she comes to select bus nodes.
